My name is Niamh, I'm 24 and I am the owner of Art Angel. I have suffered with an anxiety disorder and depression for most of my life and my only respite from this was painting.

 

My mental health got to an all time low in January 2023 and I had a breakdown. This brought me to a turning point in my life where I decided to exhibit my artwork at holistic fairs. This is where I decided to combine art with holistic products to promote the therapeutic benefits I found in painting and healing crystals.

 

I wanted to open a shop where I could create a relaxing space where people could come and enjoy my artwork and choose from a range of self care products. From beautiful, natural crystals to locally handmade soaps and candles. My goal was to create a welcoming space to encourage people to look after their own mental health. This is how Art Angel was born.
